Estates already migrated to Vendr are live within a day — including bulk MD meter reconciliation with AEDC, Abuja. Looking for more than meters? See how Vendr also handles dues, rent and service charge collection.

What changes when you switch

You didn't sign up to be a token clearing house.

Three complaints come up on almost every call with an estate manager. Here's what changes once you're on Vendr.

Today

Key Change Tokens take days to arrive from your current provider, while tenants complain to you directly.

On Vendr

Same-day KCTs in most cases, 24 hours at the outside — the delay behind the complaints disappears.

Today

Someone on your team manually loads meters and registers every tenant, one by one, off a spreadsheet.

On Vendr

Send one Excel sheet. We upload your full meter list onto the estate we create; residents register themselves from a link you forward once.

Today

No visibility into whether the disco's bulk MD meter actually matches what tenants paid for.

On Vendr

One-to-one matching. A ₦40,000 tenant purchase shows against the same ₦40,000 on the MD meter, with a configurable loss factor for transparency.

Migration, step by step

Free migration. Five steps, four of them ours.

Migrating an STS prepaid meter moves it from one Supply Group Code to another using Key Change Tokens. The whole process costs nothing, and most of the work isn't yours.

01

You request first-stage KCTs

Ask your current meter provider to move your meters to supply group code 9999-04.

02

You send us your meter list

Forward Vendr.ng the full list of meters, together with the KCTs you received.

03

We generate counter-KCTs

Vendr.ng issues a second set of KCTs bringing your meters onto our SGC — same day in most cases, at no cost to you.

04

We upload your estate

Your complete meter list goes from Excel straight onto the estate we create. No work required from you.

05

Residents self-register

You receive an estate code and a registration link. Forward it to residents — they register themselves on app or web.

Registration & payment

How residents recharge, and how you get paid.

Once registered, residents enter their meter number on the app or website and pay any time — these are prepaid meters. You choose the settlement model per estate.

Recommended A

Direct settlement

Your bank details are configured on the platform. Funds route directly to the facility manager's account as residents pay; the token generates instantly, so recharge is immediate.

B

Vendr holds & settles monthly

Vendr.ng collects payments into its own account and settles with you at month end. Typically reserved for very large-scale customers.

C

Wallet service

Residents fund a wallet in advance; when they vend, the amount debits their wallet and credits the facility manager's wallet immediately.

Questions estate managers ask first

Answered, so your partners don't have to ask twice.

How do I register the meters I already have?

You don't do it manually. Get first-stage KCTs from your current provider, send us the meter list, and Vendr.ng handles the counter-KCTs, Excel upload, and estate creation.

How do tenants register?

Through the estate registration link. Each tenant self-registers on the app or website — no involvement needed from the facility manager.

When a tenant pays, where does the money go?

Direct model: straight to the facility manager's account, meter recharged instantly. Held model: Vendr settles monthly.

Do the transaction charges affect the facility manager?

No. Transaction charges apply to the resident at recharge, not to the manager's settlement.

Can we see what the disco's meter did versus what tenants bought?

Yes — one-to-one transaction matching with a configurable loss factor. This view is for management; the loss explanation can be shared with tenants transparently.

How fast is KCT generation compared to what we deal with now?

Same day in most cases, 24 hours at the outside — removing the delay behind the tenant complaints you're used to.

Five steps to going live.

01 Agree the settlement model with your partners — direct settlement is what most estates choose.
